We’re a team of audio editors, mixing engineers, sound designers, and musicians who care deeply about how sound shapes narrative and emotion.

For over two decades, we’ve worked at the intersection of clarity and creativity — helping stories land, moments breathe, and ideas connect with audiences.

“Chad’s an OG audio guy, but he's much more than an audio guy. He understands humans and storytelling and business.”

— Clay Hebert, Marketing Strategist and Crowdfunding Expert

Chad built his career in long-form spoken-word audio, producing and mixing thousands of podcast episodes across a wide range of genres and formats. That work taught him how to listen closely — not just to sound, but to pacing, tone, and intention.

Over time, that same sensibility naturally expanded into:

  • Sound design for visual media

  • Post-production for short films and branded content

  • Music direction — spanning original composition, licensing, and supervision

Rather than treating these as separate disciplines, Chad and his team at Sound On // Sound Off approach them as parts of a single creative system.

Our team works best as your creative partner — a team who understands both the technical demands of audio post and the emotional goals of a project.

Clients often come to us when they want:

Sound that feels considered, not generic

A collaborator who speaks both creative and technical language

A calm, reliable presence in post-production

“Your team’s service is unmatched. I’ve worked with three companies now like yours and you’re the only one I would recommend.”

— Corey Wayne, Center for Action and Contemplation

Things We Love:

Podcasts and audiobooks that care about sound and storytelling

Short films and visual projects with emotional intent

Directors, producers, and creators who value collaboration

Teams who want sound and music to feel unified rather than siloed

If you’re working on something where sound matters — we’d love to hear about it.
